It works: Just spray the metal surface of any tool with Bull Frog Cleaner Degreaser with Rust Blocker then clean and rinse with water. That's when the Rust Blocker with VpCIs (vapor phase corrosion inhibitors) goes to work to seal and protect the metal surface with a 'Molecular Umbrella'. Best of all, should the 'Molecular Umbrella' be scratched away, VpCIs will migrate from surrounding surfaces to form a new umbrella, electrochemically resealing the vulnerable metal.
